00:08 Now, we'll look at several useful technologies that can help us work smarter, more effectively, more intelligently in the age of digitization, beginning with the cloud. Perhaps you've previously used Dropbox.

    00:22 Perhaps you've heard of Apple's iCloud.

00:25 These are just two examples of cloud computing platforms.

00:28 We no longer keep data locally on a server in our basement, but rather utilize the Internet to store data anywhere in the globe - in the United States, Switzerland, Asia, or in a cloud, which is someplace in the sky.

00:45 This solution has the advantage of being global rather than local.

00:49 In this linked world, we may share this data with other teams and individuals.

00:56 Someone in America, for example, and someone in Europe can both work on the same document at the same time. Standard software such as SAP or Microsoft Office products such as Word or Excel are now available for the cloud.

01:09 That means everything will be moved to the cloud.

01:19 Now we'll look at CRM tools or customer relationship management tools.

01:24 To begin, you may name Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or SAP CRM - solutions that assist us in generating more information and efficiency per customer.

01:34 The goal is for personnel who work in sales, after-sales, and pre-sales to submit their information and data to these platforms.

01:43 Everyone has the same understanding.

01:45 Everyone has access to the same information.

01:48 All personnel who are involved have access.

01:51 Finally, we have optimal customer support and maximum turnover.

02:00 Following that, we will discuss project management solutions such as Jira, Asana, and Agantty. These are based on particular methods, such as a Gantt chart or Kanban, Scrum, and many more, and based on these approaches, I and you must consider what matches with our teams - what matches with our company? Which strategies do we favor? Only then can you lay the foundation for productive teamwork.

02:32 And task management demonstrates several tools, such as to-do lists like Wunderlist or Todoist. They allow you to manage tasks, projects, and lists, as well as add or distribute tasks and ensure that everything is completed.

02:50 I can tell you one thing: there are teams and to-do lists aplenty, but everything is now digital.

03:04 Email is dead, according to the front page of a Swiss newspaper, and we can see it immediately. "Yes, email is not really up to date with what is happening today," the first organizations say.

    03:17 Ccs were accountability issues.

03:20 In today's world, we need something new to replace email.

03:23 We require Communication 4.0, and the first tools, such as Slack, are available.

03:29 These tools are keyword-based, interactive, and multimedia.

03:33 There are several channels for the people who are related to each project - some in this channel, others in the next, and so on.

03:40 That means you can work considerably more efficiently - smarter, faster, and better.

03:45 Perhaps you've heard of Skype.

03:46 Perhaps you've already used it.

03:48 Skype is virtually unrivaled in business today.

03:51 There is not only Skype, but also Cisco, Webex, and Zoom.

03:56 Video conferencing is the issue.

03:58 We may now not only phone someone but also see each other.

    04:01 We can display presentations.

04:03 We are capable of hosting webinars.

04:05 We can arrange for training.

04:07 We can also share our desktop, allowing others to view what we're working on in real time. Perhaps we will soon be able to participate in meetings even when we are not physically present. Instead, we put on a headset and enter a virtual environment.

04:20 We can see everyone but not touch them.

04:22 That is the communication 4.0 future.

04:31 There are a few more applications that may be of interest to you, such as Evernote or Google Drive, which allow you to create a digital memory.

04:39 Knowledge and information can be stored and accessed in tiny groups.

04:43 However, if you want to be creative with your team while not sitting at a table, you can use mind mapping tools, which are especially useful when combined with video conferencing and desk sharing.

04:55 The social intranet is last but not least.

04:58 We are all familiar with the intranet, the Internet within the organization, and perhaps you have some experience with it, and it is now becoming social.

05:08 That implies Facebook, Xing , and LinkedIn for your own company.

05:14 That implies we can share knowledge, interact, discuss difficulties, help one other (totally social), and form communities.

05:25 Continental, the large automotive group from Germany, has created communities, and 250,000 employees, or 10% of the workforce, worked in a community during their work hours and in their spare time, and were possibly responsible for innovation, improving the work environment, and creativity in one community.

05:48 And they have pushed things forward and, in some ways, benefited the company in the long run.
