The FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination) is a licensure exam conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) in India. It assesses the medical knowledge and skills of Indian citizens or Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) who have obtained their medical degrees from foreign universities.

Indian citizens or OCI holders who have completed their medical education from foreign universities are eligible to take the FMGE.

The FMGE is conducted twice a year, usually in June and December. The exam is held in various cities across India, and candidates can choose their preferred exam center during the application process.

The FMGE consists of a computer-based test (CBT) with multiple-choice questions (MCQs). It is a single-day exam divided into two parts, each containing 150 MCQs. The duration for each part is 150 minutes.
