Victoria was born and raised in metro Detroit and has attended Michigan State and Wayne State for her education. She grew up spending weekends on the lake with her father and going to fairs and festivals. A former actress in high school, she loves attending Broadway shows, musicals, and any live event she can find. She is a loving cat mother to two black and white mischievous little girls. She is applying to internal medicine residency this year, with the goal of pursuing a fellowship in hematology/oncology. Victoria is grateful for the mentors she has had along the way, and hopes that her blogs will provide insight and guidance to those on a similar career path.
