Rachael Valentz is an Assistant Professor at the Anna Vaughn School of Nursing within the College of Health Sciences. Dr. Valentz serves as the College of Health Sciences Assessment Coordinator. Her specialty is in critical care areas with a love for cardiovascular intensive care.
Prior to her work at in the School of Nursing, Rachael was a travel nurse in California, Florida, Illinois, and Oklahoma. Her specialty is in critical care areas with a love for cardiovascular intensive care. Along with other AVSON faculty members, Dr. Valentz published the Theory of Nursing for the Whole Person in the Journal of Christian Nursing, and continues to have interest in studying the effectiveness of teaching methods for undergraduate nursing students. She earned a Ph.D. in Nursing Education and Administration at William Carey University (2022), an MSN in Nursing Education Northeastern State University (2015), and a BSN from Oral Roberts University (2004).
